Absolutely! In other words, it's just another excuse by "clients" not to pay a writer. It's as simple as that.

If the content is great, and it expresses what the client wants to express and it is thoughtful, well written and does the job, then who cares who wrote it, right?

We as writers do of course, but the clients only care about the end result...
