After living and working in Ukraine for 20 years this American quickly learned and adopted the proverb "only idiots and fools smile for no reason..."

It made going home difficult because people started asking me, "What's wrong?" because I wasn't walking around with a permanent "Have a nice day" smile etched on my face... lol...
