Although you may be right about those "misguided people" it all depends on their socio-economic level in your country. Are they at the same level as you or are they living in abject poverty?

If it's the later, the USA could probably offer them way more opportunities than in your own country.

The US is a great country to immigrate to if a person is coming from abject poverty, has a high value skill, wants to be an entrepreneur or has a ton of money and is looking for safety, stability and rule of law etc.

Don't believe everything you watch on YouTube.. Immigration numbers and statistics don't lie...

At the end of the day, people vote with their feet and their wallets....
