As a former TEFL teacher, Cambridge and IELTS examiner for 20 years having been out of the game for 4 years now, I honestly think teaching will go back to more human interactions.

Let's face it, anyone can learn a foreign language nowadays and for free given all the online tools and apps. With AI becoming more and more powerful, you don't even need a teacher...

In fact, within a few years you won't even need to learn a language. This will be due to more powerful phones with Bluetooth and simultaneous translations along with AI.

Despite the above, teaching old skool, human to human, connections and IRL lessons, social elements of the classroom without boring books like Headway or mind numbing pixelated gimmicks will make a comeback and will be at a premium...
