As someone who uses travel days to fast, I find that adjusting my sleeping and eating times to those of the destinations I'm traveling to really helps me to avoid jetlag. However, I do appreciate your perspective.

In fact, it used to be easier since airline and airport food options were little to be desired, overpiced restaurants and fast food options were easy to avoid.

But, I have to admit, airports have been upping their food game and some long haul flights, legacy carriers options make it also too tempting not to indulge as it helps break up the time...
