As someone who's just joined Medium myself after years in the WordPress/Niche Website/Ads/Affiliate game and who's had one too many Google algorithm slap downs, I can totally relate and now why I'm now a true believer that in the new age of AI the only why you can win is by being you, human an authentic.

In the age of AI human connection will be at a premium.

The only thing that makes me nervous about a platform like Medium when compared to WordPress is their ability to suspend or cancel your account with no recourse, so be careful on your "all in on Medium" strategy.

This is why keeping your own site as well as finding ways to diversify your online presence is crucial...
