As someone with blue eyes myself I was naturally drawn to the story of the blue-eyed dolls.

I found it such a touching reminder of how simple gestures, like sending a doll, can symbolize something much larger, like international goodwill.

It’s incredible to think that out of 12,000 dolls, only 344 remain, making them not just rare artifacts but also historical relics of a time when even toys were used to build bridges between cultures.

It’s powerful how something as small as a doll can hold such deep meaning, representing both an era and the hopes for peace between nations.
