Fascinating how color can carry such complex meanings and trigger wildly different reactions!

It's true, orange seems to live on a spectrum from bold to “too much,” making it feel almost like a love-it-or-hate-it choice.

I think it’s partly because orange is so unapologetically itself; it demands attention, whether that’s from a jack-o’-lantern or a construction cone. There's no sneaking by with orange!

Also, linking it to Halloween with all its mixed emotions, superstition, excitement, a bit of fear makes sense.

It adds a whole extra layer to how we see orange, depending on our memories and experiences with the color.
