The US has had this in place for years for citizens of Visa waiver countries when they want to visit the US. I'm more surprised they haven't implemented this sooner.

Several Visa zones are set to do this, including the UK. For Schengen it will be 1 authorization, once every 3 years.

Apparently, you can do it online in a matter of minutes. It's good for all countries in Schengen.

Just check these things before buying that air ticket beforehand...
