I appreciate your opinion, but hyperbole? That's exaggerated.
Have you been in a convenience store or fast food place lately? Tip jars.
And where do most tourists from outside the US visit?
They flock to all the main cities and sites NYC, Miami, San Fran... Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Disney World.. I could go on.
Some of these areas get so many foreign tourists, many restaurants actually have to add in a 20% tip or service fee in the menu.
To add insult to injury, many tourists, already advised to tip before leaving home, miss those added fees and end up tipping twice!
Stirring up the pot, yeah, I don't think so. It's called reality....
