I avoid European low-cost carriers like the plague, especially Ryanair, which seems to be the worst of the bunch.

I've flown EasyJet on one short haul flight and even paid more for check-in baggage, which I didn't mind. That exception aside, I purposely seek out Legacy carriers and avoid European low-cost carriers like the plague, when I do have to fly.

Even trains nowadays with higher ticket prices, cancelations and delays have renewed my interest in coach travel.

In fact, coach travel in Europe is my favorite way to travel. The experience reminds me of what European trains used to be like 30-40 years ago with the whole Eurail pass trends back when they were popular in the day.
