I can relate! With AI becoming more and more important in the world of search and the content arms race along with Google's ever fickle algorithm updates, I'm done as well for the most part.

It's Heartbreaking to spend months and years building a site to have it wiped off the map with little to no explanation by a corporation's whimsical algorithm....

The last straw was building my last site in 18 months to almost 100k sessions, being accepted into Mediavine, then a month later be hit by 2 algorithm updates.....

The future isn't SEO voodoo, it developing true value and human to human connection... In a world increasingly dominated by screens and AI, human contact and authenticity with be at an increasing premium....Writing here on Medium is hopefully a great start.
