I certainly appreciate you stating the thoughts of many writers here.

However, you pretty much answered your own concerns as to why Medium seems to promote these "AI" articles. They get plenty of engagement...

I'm sure when you come across an article that falls flat and is unrelatable, you don't engage, nor do I, but move on....

So, the question becomes, why do people who use AI come out with better and more engagement on those articles than those who don't?

Another question is, 🤔 what's next? An AI witch hunt? A Ministry of Truth section called Human or AI?

We've seen similar situations when online plagiarism checkers came on to the scene flagging content as plagiarized, complete with scores, color coding (US spelling, he, he. Sorry for being cheeky, couldn't resist) etc.

Many have been accused simply for using too many common idiomatic phrases, anecdotes sign posting etc.

Where does it end?

Please don't misunderstand, I agree with you for the most part, but there's still plenty of unanswered questions and half baked solutions for something that is not only here to stay, but may leave many behind...

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
