I do appreciate you using humor in conveying the deeper tension between dealing with the temporary problems we can eventually resolve, like a rat, versus the more abstract or intangible issues that linger, like a ghost.

It feels like a clever metaphor for life’s challenges, where some things are fixable with time, while others we have to learn to live with.
