I lived in Southern California in and around LA for 11 years and the image of living in a place where "stability is an illusion" is so true!
Not just because of the earthquakes, but in the way the city embodies constant flux, from the glamorous to the gritty.
Yet, the idea that dreams are real despite the instability really hits home, reminding us that even in uncertainty, there's room for hope and ambition.
