I love this! I always advocate to traveling and staying in small undescript towns or smaller regional cities that are way off the beaten path.

In fact, even if they are mentioned in Rick Steves so-called Europe through the back door books, I tend to avoid them especially.

Not to mention all the digital nomad hubs which also attract the types of visitors locals seem to abhor since, especially digital Nomads, who on average earn much more than local residents in many of these areas, jack up the rents.
