I remember when Medium enabled this feature on my publication, a week ago today in fact. I rushed to fill those first 4 slots up.

Then, I thought about it. And, like you, I thought about all those spammy comments, the hit and run 1 clappers, etc and decided to "unfeature" them.

I like my current read ratios, especially when I'm analyzing my articles so I can generate new ideas or expand on others that seemed to resonate...

I'm still undecided though.
