If “happy hour” is an all-day thing or just slightly discounted from already crazy prices, it completely loses its appeal.

It’s wild to think that a concept meant to offer a break in the day, a bit of relief for the wallet, has become just another marketing gimmick.

I think your point about making it an actual deal again, tied to specific hours, would bring back some sanity to the whole idea.
