I'm doing something similar, but on WordPress. I already have had the site up for over 4 years, created a publication on Medium with the same name and publish the same content on both.....

I've set up a Substack, but something is still mysteriously holding me back from going all in.

I don't know if it's their business model, their limiting interface, poor customer service, their Twitter poorly formatted wannabee "Notes".

Maybe it's because it seems like more of a "writer writing for other writers" platform bubble echo-chamber....
