It does seem like the more we accumulate, the more we start clinging to the security of it all, and it really is eye-opening how our priorities can shift from enjoying life to simply trying to maintain it.

It’s like we build a cage with each paycheck, thinking we need just a little more for that elusive safety net, when in reality, we’re often safe enough already.
