It’s wild how marketing can blur the line between strategic salesmanship and outright manipulation.
I think a lot of us have been on the receiving end of “creative” product depictions that push ethical boundaries, and it’s frustrating as a customer to feel like you’re constantly being upsold with a bit of smoke and mirrors.
It makes me wonder where we should draw the line between persuasive marketing and deception, especially when it’s clear companies are banking on us not knowing all the facts.
