I've been a FOM from the beginning since I joined the platform, so I don't know any different.

However, Medium should give some additional perks to those who have joined, like reinstating the referral bonus plan only to FOM, priority customer service, etc.

All these won't cost much and may even boost FOM sign ups....

As someone who has written SEO content, has had WordPress niche websites, etc. for over 15 years, Medium is a refreshing alternative. The fact that their platform is ad free and its algrithym is based around its readers, their reading habits etc. is pure gold.

I actually think writers who are constantly complaining about the platform don't realize how good they got it.

The ability to write for humans, studying and analyzing other writers titles, subtitles, and publications, experimenting with topics and finding your "niche" plus the data within the platform alone to mine. Well... it's a goldmine!
