No actually, the last letter of my surname is supposed to be an "i", not an "e".

But when my grandfather immmigrated the letter "i" in Italian is pronounced as the the letter"e" in English.

That right there is the perfect lesson in why you should always " dot your "i" s and cross your "t" s...lol..

For most of my childhood yes, in the state of Connecticut...☺️
