LOL! No, I haven't personally because I've never had the desire nor the need to drive while I've been living abroad.

Maybe once in a while, but most driver's licenses issued in the US are valid in many countries for up to a year.

However, I've heard plenty of horror stories of those expats who've had to....

Lesson: You don't personally have to go through the difficulty of an experience to learn form it.

In fact, learning from the experiences of others, especially the bad ones, is the best, most efficient way to learn..lol.
