People like this, Trump etc. are created by the political elites failure to listen to a portion of their societies. Basically ignoring and neglecting them. Eventually, "the chickens do come home to roost".

Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging their concerns and making efforts to do the hard work to improve their conditions that brought them to these populist grifters, they demonize, calling them "deplorables" alienating further, making matters worse....
