SEO is voodoo. Basically, just make sure your title, url, headings and content are all related to the subject you are writing about and it's targeted to your, well, target audience. That's 90% of SEO in a nutshell.

Sure, there are keyword tools you can use, links you can buy, guest posting, social media, yadda, yadda, yadda...

But, here's the untold secret that no so-called SEO expert will ever tell you.

They don't know the secrets to getting to number one in Google, sure if you have some obscure 10 word phrase nobody is looking for, they can get you to number 1 for that phrase, but who cares?

But ask an "SEO expert" to get you to number 1 for "Best Credit Card" and you'll get crickets... because if they could, they'd buy an island 🏝 right next to Sergey Brin...

Truth is, know one knows the secrets to Google's algorithm, except Google and they don't share that with anyone, not ahrefs or any other keyword tool or SEO expert. Not even Matt Cutts or any other Google employee...

Bottom line, write for people, become an authority, build a list by hook or crook through, yes, SEO (but look at it as free, a gift, but not as a business model), paid ads, social media, any and every way you can and guard it with your life, because the money is in the list....
