The long-term damage that comes from pushing too hard or relying on shortcuts like steroids isn’t worth it.
Staying fit should be about health and longevity, not trying to break records or look like a bodybuilder.
It’s refreshing to see a reminder that basic bodyweight exercises can give you what you need without the risks.
BTW, I'm a huge advocate of bodyweight training. No gym. I even gave up my suspension trainer for strictly "commando style" finding things and creating situations on the road that I can turn into bodyweight resistance exercises.
Like using areas in a flat for dips, elevated pushups etc. Even sturdy plastic shopping bags loaded with water bottles.
I've changed my whole mindset to focus on only the range of motion that creates the most time under tension for each muscle I am targeting.
I real game-changer!
