That's the beauty of travel and life, isn't it? "One person's paradise is another person's ..."Thanks for the recommendation about that lesser-known gem in Portugal!

I personally am going to skip Spain and Portugal for the time being, especially Spain with some of the Franco-esque rules they seem to be bringing back, like not only registration (which a few countries already have like Greece).

Spain's also going to require much more personal and financial details to be passed on to the local authorities for just a mere stay at and accommodation..

It's funny how countries that are now EU, but were under rule by former dictators, can't seem to resist bringing back or keeping some of their invasive policies...
