There’s something so powerful, yet dystopian about the feeling of missing something that never really existed.

It’s like a phantom longing that tugs at you from a place you can’t even point to.

It’s both heartbreaking and comforting to realize that those imaginary “homes” and loves give us something to hope for, even if they’re never quite within reach.
