This a reminder that what we're witnessing today, these ancient, towering sequoias, could become just stories for future generations if we don't act fast.

The idea that we might be the final witnesses to something so monumental feels both surreal and heartbreaking.

It's easy to take their presence for granted, but hearing about the scale of the destruction in recent years really brings it home.

We need to reframe how we think about conservation, not just as a responsibility but as a fight for survival, both for these trees and for the planet we share with them.
