This hits on such a frustrating but real issue with how animals are portrayed in media.

The gap between reality and fiction might seem harmless, but for people who have little exposure to these creatures, it can lead to a lot of unnecessary fear.

The idea that someone could panic and harm a completely docile reptile just because of what they saw in a movie is unsettling.

It makes you wonder how many other animals are misunderstood because of similar misrepresentations.
