This idea of Paris turning into a mega city with no real “center” is super interesting.

It’s like flipping the script on what we think a city should be, spreading out the action instead of cramming it into one spot.

I've always thought of Paris as one big snail myself.

It's also interesting that cities in the US for example, normally have their least desirable areas in their downtowns (although that's been changing over the last few decades), whereas in France their least desirable areas or "Banlieue's" are outside their historic city centers....

Although your article does make me wonder if this will finally change how people see the suburbs, or if it’ll just create a whole new set of problems as everything blends together.
