The fact that something hasn’t been found doesn’t mean it didn’t exist, especially with organic materials like skin boats that would naturally deteriorate over time.

The indirect evidence, from tools to seal oil, paints a compelling picture that challenges our assumptions about ancient transportation.

It makes you wonder how many other crucial pieces of history are just waiting to be interpreted from subtle traces.
