This is such a great analogy! Especially when so many of us fall into the trap of grinding out content without stepping back to see if we’re actually progressing.

It’s easy to feel productive when we’re busy, but without a clear direction, all that effort might just be wasted energy.

I love the idea of treating each word as intentional and strategic, rather than just hitting a word count goal for the sake of it.
