This part got me thinking.

Why do we always feel like we have to "do" something when we travel? Just being in a place and soaking it in can be so much more rewarding.

Little things like going to a local market or even supermarket where you see different foods, prices in a different currency and language. Even that I think is an adventure all in of itself!

The way you explained the difference between having a home base and being fully nomadic really nails it, at least for me, there’s a whole different mindset when you don’t have a "back home" waiting for you.

I’m more of a longer-term stay kind of traveler, but I can totally relate to what you’ve written here.
