This really flips the script on the usual “fancy wine with fancy food” mindset. I do it all the time! And I thought I was the only one!

It’s a refreshing reminder that we don’t need a five-course meal to enjoy wine, a burger or sushi can do the job just as well.

It’s like saying, “Why wait for a special occasion when you can turn any random Tuesday into something worth celebrating?”

Although, contrary to popular belief (at least in the USA) wine, especially red wine does not pair well with pizza.

Sorry folks, even in Italy, I never saw people drinking wine while eating pizza, it was always water, a soft drink or beer.

I didn't understand why red wine always tasted funny with pizza, until I realized that the acidity in the sauce and the acidity in the red wine clashed.

That's another reason why the most popular cheese on pizza is mozzarella.

It's the most neutral cheese there is and compliments the acidity of the pizza sauce, balance...
