This really hits the whole "What happens at home, stays at home" mentality on the head, except it gets exported!

It's wild how normalized this kind of behavior can become when there's little consequence in familiar territory, and the assumption carries over when abroad.

I can totally see this same logic playing out in other tourist hotspots where lenient policing just fuels the chaos.

Amsterdam might need to consider a cultural reset with tourists instead of relying on fines that are seen more as a game than a deterrent.
