Unfortunately, these societal traps are laid out in front of us too fast and too young to pivot and before you know it you're 50 something and can't get out. 😔

I hope if younger people are reading this they realize that although none of the above are bad choices, that they still are choices nonetheless.

Each choice we make has consequences. I guess what I'm trying to say is I just hope younger people take a breath before making these serious life choices and not let them accumulate too fast so that they always give themselves some breathing room...

Thanks for the article brother and sharing your thoughts. As someone in their 50s as well, I feel your pain. Ironically, I've made almost the opposite life choices you have, but now I too, have to deal with the consequences as well.... the grass isn't always greener...

I quote one verse of a Beatles song.."What a drag it is getting old..."
