Well written London! I haven't drunk the Substack kool-aid yet, despite the countless articles singing its praise by many a writerprenuer/ online writer gurus here on Medium.

In fact, I've unsubscribed to every single Substack, even the almighty Medium God Tim Denning's...lol.

Oh, btw, they were all "free" subscriptions. I've never paid for a single subscription on Substack..

Yet oddly enough, I have no problems paying for my FOM account here and I have been from the beginning, despite not seeing any clear benefits to it..bizarre..

I just got too annoyed at all the notifications, not just when they posted an article, but those stupid notes... I don't know why that is either, I get notified enough on Medium, but for some reason Medium's notifications aren't so annoying.
