Yeah! Airports are minefields for scams. Two pieces of advice, 1) When you get off the plane, stop before you go to baggage claim, the exits, passport control, etc. You're still in a very safe zone, and get your barrings. Plan out your steps on what you need to do and where you need to go next. Every step.

2) As soon as you go through those doors where you are now in arrivals and exposed to the general public, get tunnel vision. Go to the exact place where you need to go and do what you need to do. Ignore everything and everyone around you. Once you're done, everything is secured including your taxi, bus, ATM, if you're picking up a local sim-card etc. then leave....

Works every time!
