Yeah, I hear ya about Georgia. I experienced that myself as well.

This whole "tipping epidemic" has gotten way out of control in the US from what I've seen and heard.

It's a difficult one because I have family in the restaurant and catering business and they make their livings based on tips.

I have others that own fast food places and they even allow their staff to place tip jars in front of the registers, (embarrassing).

I'm going back to the good ol' USA at the end of January after a 3 year absence to see family (they aren't getting any younger) and to take care of some banking stuff.

Although I miss my family, I'm really not looking forward to going back. I'm going to try to spend as little time as I can there. But it's such a long trip, the time zones, cost, I almost have to stay for a least a week....
