Yes, I have. But I do realize there's a ceiling on Medium.

The question is how high...

I've been in the "niche website" game for quite a few years, but over the past year, Google's had some algo updates that have made it clear that you can't depend on any one platform.

And although I agree with the whole "mastering" one platform approach. It's still someone else's platform that they control, not you.

So, diversification is key.

Learned this the hard way. I had thrown my hat back into freelance writing, but I soon learned that Upwork and Linkedin are both bigger dumpster fires than ever.

And to be quite honest, I'm not too enthused about being part of the whole "freelance writer" community.

What I've found on Linkedin are either desperate freelancers whose native language isn't English, who can't even string a coherent sentence together, let alone a post or even write their own profiles correctly and call themselves "writers". Or the "coaches" and "gurus" who prey on them with BS coaching or courses, not interested in either...

And they all write in one big circle jerk instead of focusing their content on their ICP...

So, I'm building my own "niche of one".... learning the different platforms and deciding which will best work for me.

Then, build my own eco-system and more importantly my own value proposition... It's a work in progress...

Sorry for the ramble....

But yes, I do enjoy Medium and plan on making it an important part of my diversified value chain....
